I was entrusted with the responsibility of creating an interactive dashboard to evaluate the performance of meeting organizers based on attendee ratings, comments, and specified criteria. The objective of this project was to enhance meeting effectiveness and identify areas for improvement in organizing meetings.
To execute this project, I leveraged my skills in data retrieval from SQL server and employed DAX extensively in Power BI for data visualization. The dashboard consisted of three distinct pages, each designed to cater to different stakeholders and user requirements.
Firstly, the 'Overview' page offered a comprehensive view of meeting performance through various key performance indicators (KPIs) and graphical representations. It featured a line graph illustrating overall meeting ratings over time, allowing meeting organizers to identify trends and patterns in meeting effectiveness. Additionally, a rating ranking between meeting organizers offered a comparative analysis, enabling management to recognize top-performing organizers and provide recognition for their efforts.
The 'Details' page provided in-depth data on meeting performance, while the 'Individual' page was designed to allow the organizer to search for and view the performance and attendee feedback for all their meetings.
The completion of the Meeting Rating BI Dashboard demonstrated the power of data-driven decision-making in improving meeting effectiveness and organizational efficiency. The positive feedback received from stakeholders and organizers further validated the impact of data analytics in the workplace. This project not only strengthened my technical skills but also instilled in me a deeper appreciation for the significance of data-driven insights in driving organizational improvements.
